The Glen Cove Center of Harbor Child Care was delighted that Glen Cove Mayor Tim Tenke and Deputy Mayor Maureen Basdavanos visited us on March 15. Led by their three-year old tour guide Patrick, they visited every classroom and spoke with our teachers and students, observed learning taking place from the Creative Curriculum and felt they were received warmly by everyone.
As a strong supporter of education in general and early childhood learning settings in particular, Mayor Tenke complimented Harbor as an organization that adds value to the City of Glen Cove through its daily efforts and through its extensive outreach into the community. Deputy Mayor Basdavanos remarked what a pleasure it was to meet everyone at the Harbor Glen Cove Center, especially their amazing tour guide Patrick.
