As we mentioned in our previous post, 20,000 Students and Counting: Celebrating the Beginning of Harbor Child Care, we first opened our doors in 1973. Initially providing quality child care and education from a home in Sea Cliff, we now have five thriving locations throughout Nassau County.

As Harbor Child Care continues growing, so do the children we help care for and teach! It is incredible to think about the fact that so many children who walked or perhaps crawled through our doors are now adults. And many of the Harbor Child Care “graduates” still residing in Nassau County now have their children enrolled here.
Every year, our staff and the children they care for build memories that last a lifetime. We truly understand the significance of providing children with quality education as it serves as a foundation for academic and social growth, impacting lives years after their time at Harbor.
