Fifty two years ago Harbor Child Care began as a day care center with eight children by our founder Jill Rooney, who recognized the need for safe and reliable child care for busy families. Since then we have evolved with six dedicated locations and have emerged as one of the largest not-for-profit organizations dedicated to full-day child care, early childhood and school age education on Long Island.
