Naomi Cunningham is the Director of Learning and Culture at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York, leading racial equity programming in support of bridging systemic health care disparity gaps that adversely impact marginalized patients and staff.

With a MA in Community Health Promotion from Adelphi University, Naomi has a professional background advancing community-based health initiatives. Her previous roles connected thousands of low-income and racially/ethnically marginalized Long Islanders to life-saving breast cancer and reproductive health resources. In 2013, Naomi was recognized by the Long Island Business News as a Community Outreach Health Care Hero.

A proud SUNY Old Westbury Top 50 Alumni honoree, Naomi instructs Community Learning and Ethics of Engagement courses within the campus’ First Year Experience program since 2017.

Naomi became a Harbor Child Care parent in 2021 and joined the Board in April, 2024.  A resident of Bay Shore, Naomi and her family enjoy spending time at the Great South Bay.
