CARE
Part of the reason for Harbor’s continued stellar reputation is the fact there are dedicated board members who regularly meet to review and maintain the excellent standard of care that is offered at all six of the Harbor centers.
They provide oversight and regular guidance for the teachers/caregivers and help them to understand not only what and how to teach, but why certain practices are successful.
CURRICULUM
Be assured that Harbor takes its mission of “Preparing for Life Beyond Academics” seriously. For this reason they offer The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool, Fourth Edition, an early childhood curriculum designed to foster social/ emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to enhance learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology. The fact this program revolves around adapting to each child and their particular learning strengths helps to put many parents at ease, especially when they are trying to balance work as well as nurturing their child.
CONVENIENCE
Harbor Child Care offers six conveniently located centers that are open Monday through Friday year-round, with most starting at 7:00 am and closing at 6:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided and centers are peanut-free. Care is offered for all ages, so that siblings can attend.
